I bought a one-piece bathing suit years ago, but have only worn it a handful of times. It’s a cute one-piece, slightly retro inspired. I wore it the other weekend at the pool with my little cousin because I wasn’t in the mood for a bikini. I figured my boyfriend would hate it, but to my surprise he said it was “sexy.”
This got me thinking, one-piece bathing suits can be sexy. They are different from what we are used to wearing and they still show off our shape. They also have the ability to hide a few flaws- a little stomach pooch, pregnancy stretch marks or even an incision scar- which in-turn will help with a woman’s confidence… and to be honest, confidence is one of the most important factors in feeling sexy.
So I’ve decided to break the stigma, you don’t have to be over the age of 40, overweight, or pregnant to wear a one-piece suit. Honestly I think the suits below are more stylish than most bikinis out there anyway.
